BEYOND-THE-HORIZON

Welcome to the web pages of the Coordination Action BEYOND-THE-HORIZON "Anticipating Future and Emerging Information Society Technologies" (Contract No. 006622). This project, funded by the Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) Programme of the European Commission, will last 18 months (1/1/2005 - 30/6/2006).

Beyond the Horizon officially ended on June 30, 2006. The end results of the coordination action are the final reports from the Thematic Groups on:

A consolidated final report including recommendations for FET programmes in FP7 and beyond is available here. A summary of this report is available in the form of a booklet that puts forth the main findings of the working groups.

The final reports are the result of a series of working meetings of the thematic groups and a public consultation with the research community. The submitted comments and proposals are available through the consultation forum.

Beyond-the-Horizon project was funded by the EU under the FET Open Call, Priortiy 2 Information Society Technologies of the 6th Framework Programme.
